As a small family-owned rigging and haulage company, our owner, Shaun Starke, supported by the administration office, will be totally involved for the entire duration of your project, from beginning to end.
With over 35 years of hands-on rigging and haulage experience, Shaun has the skills and the know-how to establish and propose the best solution that will meet your requirements safely and efficiently. Not only will the job be done timeously and effectively but scheduling of the work to be performed will be done to minimise work stoppages and lost time for the client. In this regard, working hours are often extended to include weekends and after-hour work nights.
From a client perspective, the most reassuring fact is that Shaun, supported by a team of riggers, is physically involved in every aspect of the job, from rigging to driving the truck.
OUR SERVICES
We specialise in single piece moves and entire factory machine relocation within and across the borders of South Africa. We also offer scrap-equipment removal and can provide limited storage capacity for rental.
No matter what you need to move, whether you are changing facilities completely or implementing a new machine, we can assist. Examples of items moved for clients in the past include Bank ATM’s, a helicopter, a car washing machine, diving tanks, an airplane, woodworking and engineering machines, and palm trees and rocks for landscaping specialists.
In addition to handling all of your machinery moving needs, I.Starke Engineering can also handle any required crating, loading, transportation, offloading and rough setting for complete turn-key plant relocations.
